The emergence of tics , libraries have been reoriented in scientific - information, to enhance and optimize the quality of services and access to information. The services are designed to meet the information needs, ensuring ease of access, speed and relevance in information retrieval, which enables researchers teachers and teachers in training to fully develop their creativity and generate new knowledge for the good of society. These new challenges require information centers to become agents of change within the university.
The computer was one of the main ways to access information and to find, given that it is essential to educational centers, the use of information through hereby constitutes a pedagogical need
around the actions of teachers. That is, it needs professionals with general culture and especially with adequate information culture, which becomes significant connotation in Higher Education.
Searching for information is considered a necessary activity from the academic perspective. When there is a need for information, often constitutes a problem for teachers properly oriented in the large volume of information and clarify what he is relevant in their own professional field as required to develop skills and abilities in access and use of information for scientific production needed for his work.
This situation is particularly significant for the field of scientific activity, since at this stage has raised the need for retrieval of information by faculty researchers, due to the increase in management science and innovation and technological center hence it constitutes an important problem to find answers that help to satisfy these requirements of information retrieval.
The aim is to reflect on how to facilitate the retrieval of information to researchers, students, officials and other persons to undertake work quality.
