RESEARCH SERVICE CALL SUMMARY OF THE NATIONAL RESEARCH AWARDS
Purpose of the call:
The purpose of the resolution is the call for the regular 2009, National Awards for Research
the following areas:
- PNI "Blas Cabrera" in the area of \u200b\u200bPhysical Sciences, Materials and Earth.
-PNI "Enrique Moles" in the area of \u200b\u200bChemical Science and Technology.
- PNI "Alejandro Malaspina" in the area of \u200b\u200bScience and Technology of Natural Resources.
- PNI "Julio Rey Pastor" in the area of \u200b\u200bMathematics and Information Technology and Communications
.
- P NI "Juan de la Cierva" in the area of \u200b\u200bTechnology Transfer.
Amount of aid:
National Research Awards will be endowed with 100,000 euros each, and
other non-monetary allocation, consisting of a commemorative plaque to be presented to the winners

Requirements for applicants:
may be candidates for the National Research Awards
researchers English national, whose research work, regardless of the country where
carried out constitutes an outstanding contribution to the advancement of science, humanities, social sciences
, technology, health sciences, or technology transfer.
candidates at the time of their nomination, they must be active
and developing a highly significant work in their field and recognized
internationally.
Submission of applications:
Entries will be accepted under any of the following ways:
a) At the initiative of 5 researchers from prestigious English or foreign.
b) by any of the following institutions:
- English or foreign universities.
- English public research institutions or foreign counterparts.
- Royal Academies Institute of Spain.
- Scientific and Professional Societies in the area of \u200b\u200bthe national award to be nominated

- R & D centers and promote R & D public or private non-profit profit.
Deadline:
The deadline for nominations begin on the date of entry into force of this resolution
call and end on July 15, 2009, inclusive.
